In January 26th 2013 Claudia was taken from this life in a tragic motor vehicle accident.  She was a dedicated mother, friend, coworker and runner.  She was one of the most caring and loving individuals on the planet. Her smile and infectious laugh lit up a room and her hugs made everything "ok". 



The first thing her friends and family thought was of the well being of Claudia's kids.  So much of what Claudia did every day was for them.  As we sorted through our grief we came to realize that individually we had all been thinking that nothing would be more perfect than to have a road race to benefit the children. Claudia LOVED to run.  She ran almost every day; rain, shine, sleep or no sleep, alone or with friends.  She ran in numerous competitive races in many locations. 



So we came together friends, family, coworkers and we began to plan this race.  So on June 8th we will run in Claudia's memory.  We will do something that she loved for the four people she loved most in the world.
